***Sporty's Bar serves a free Christmas Eve dinner.

Sporty's calls itself "The Original Dive Bar." Not nearly in the
original meaning; it's not "A place of low resort" but a respectable
college-area bar. The family that runs it are nice people.

Across the street, I dropped off several books at the Little Free Library
and took one out.
