About a month ago the owner of this station (Mike) sold and the new owners fired everyone who was working there - some employees had worked there for over 35+ years! I'm wondering if anyone knows where their mechanics ended up. The head mechanic and general manager was Glen Mann and the other mechanic was Hank. I've asked the new owners and they say nothing, but assure me they are just as trustworthy and I should give them my business. Hrmmm... their bays always seem empty and it's sending up a red-flag.

But I digress. It's truly hard to find mechanics you can trust, and Glen and Hank were the best. They worked on my car(s) for over 20 years and always found ways to keep the costs down without sacrificing safety. I'm hoping they started up a shop of their own. Bottom line, if they are working somewhere else I'd like to continue giving them my business.

So, anyone heard anything?

Thanks much for your time.

Google-fu turns up a home address for a Glenn Mann living in a suburb
of St. Paul (looks like he's a block over from one of my brothers,
actually). There's a good chance that he's your auto manager. I'll
leave it up to you to do the search, find his address and phone
number, and make the decision as to whether to call him to inquire if
he's the Mr. Mann you're looking for.

Another factor in the owners' decision might have been urban decline in that part of town. I think there were a few incidents at that gas station over the past couple of years.
