I have a friend who is planning on moving into the Metro in the next
couple of months, and I volunteered to find some info out for her.
First question is what are some good school districts in the Metro. She
has a 3 year old boy who will be starting school in the future so she
wants to plan for that. Which brings up another good point, when can
children start school here? What is the earliest they accept for
pre-school? And what are some recommendations for that?
This leads into the next topic, daycare. What are the steps to
find a good daycare. I am guessing a lot depends on area too. For some
idea of where she is looking, she wants to live in the Uptown or SW
(Minnetonka, EP) Metro.
Some things to take into consideration when recommending a school
district is she is from a small town. She has not experienced the
cultural diversity of "big" city life. She wants to maintain the
"small" town feel for a while longer (if possible). Any help?
